Comm 402, Management Skills, focuses on the skills required to successfully 'manage' others, ourselves and our careers.

The learning methods include:

  • Group discussions, team exercises, simulation games, presentations and individual projects.

The learning outcomes include:

  • Management/interpersonal skill development including; self-assessment, team member, communication, influence, conflict, stress, creative thinking, diversity and intercultural skills.
The creation of a Career Strategy Action Plan identifies the individual's management/interpersonal skills, as well as prepares the individual to set goals & affirmations that promote individual, interpersonal and organizational success.
